Although the River Thames looks like it might freeze over any day, it's not long now to the start of the sailing season. So it's time for all active sailors to start thinking about the essential maintenance jobs they need to undertake  on their boats to make sure that they will be ready in time.

The traditional curtain raiser for the new season, the Centenary Cup (with a bottle of champagne to be won) is on Sunday 18th March. This is a handicap race with  a mass start at 15:00 hours.

The first race in the 'Summer' Class and Handicap series takes place on the following Sunday, 25th March. Start times are:
15:00 Solo
15:10 Enterprise
15:20 Merlin Rocket and Handicap

CALLING ALL RACE OFFICERS AND BOSUNS
Bosun and Race Office training will take place on Sunday 25th March at 11:00 hours in the club house and on the water. The 2012 Duty Rota will be published in the very near future. If you are on the list you should attend this training - even if you have done it before.
